The journey crafted at Fragile Hotel touches both, the ancient and the contemporary. It has been lovingly restored with a modern approach that brought to the space light and openness, swept away the separation between outside and inside, past and present, creating a sort of "space in between" - space for inorganic and organic interaction.

All rooms at the Fragile hotel are different from each other. - Some with balconies, from where you can watch the world go by, others with a private patio, offering seclusion in the very heart of the city, where you can relax with a good book, or gaze over rooftops of Ciutadella and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine.

Some offer external showers to refresh yourself from midday heat, others self-standing bathtubs, for you to relax your body and senses after a day out exploring the island.

We are sourcing fresh local produce, as we believe that raw materials eaten close to their growing site represent an incentive to respect the origins and traditions.

Fragility of life relates to many aspects of our existence, more so through repeated catastrophic consequences of climate change all around the globe.
The main motivation of our project was to collaborate with internationally renowned companies, respected for their care for nature, starting with Coco-Mat sleeping system, to Tot Herba, local hand-made organic amenities and everything in between, we are always looking to improve our ways to protect the Nature.

We believe luxury is not only about appearances. First and most of all is about being understood, finding satisfaction in the small details, gathering inspiration through artistic expression.

In  1890 house became a home to Marino Benejam Ferrer, Menorcean cartoonist, who's works are known worldwide. As an integral part of the house’s own history, art continued to be a part of the Fragile journey.
Contemporary art pieces are on display in lobby's gallery and embellish walls of our rooms, while more classical pieces play a role of inspiration for our embroidered Room Signs and shape prints for our Brochures and Menus.
